What is love?
Is it something that makes your heart beat faster upon the sight of the one that you love?
Is it something that makes you wants to hold onto that person on stormy nights and just tell that person that you love them?
Is it taking walks with her just holding hands and relishing the company of that person?
Is it just sitting and talking about anything and every thing under the sun and smiling at the silliest of things?
Is it craving for a smile from that person when you know that person cannot give you a single smile, as that one smile will light up your entire day?
Does it just want that person to look into your eyes and tell you that they love you without uttering a single word?
OR…
Does it love her when you know that you cannot get her love?
Does it love her knowing that she has fallen out of love for you?
Is it waiting for a call from her when you know that she is not going to call you up?
Is it telling her “ I love you” knowing that she will not reciprocate?
Is it her smiling with every one else but keeping a distance from you when she also knows that the distance is something that you cannot stand?
Is it her blushing for some one else when you know that she used to blush every time you told her “I love you” and still waiting for her to blush for you?
Is it that you love her with all your heart and soul day by day, more and more and knowing that she does not love you any more but some one else?
Is it that you wanting to spend some time with me and knowing that she doesn’t want to spend time with you but with some one else?
Is it knowing that all that you shared with her are just plain and distance memories for her but those very same thoughts are fresh in your mind?
Is it that thinking about her and those very same thoughts about everything that you did together are growing more and more in your mind but she has readily forgotten them for some one else?
Is it knowing that in front of your eyes she in falling in love with some one else but doesn’t love you any more?
Is it knowing that the way that she cared about you has totally disappeared and now all she cares about you is like one of her distant friends?
WHAT THE FUCK IS IT?
Why is it that all you want to do is to make her smile and happy for the rest of her life when you yourself have just a short time to live?
Why is it that you want to marry her and have her as your better half in life but she wants to be the better half of some one else?
